RANGERS QUOTES
Interim Rangers Manager Barry Ferguson was a frustrated figure as he reflected on the 2-2 draw with Hibernian at Easter Road on Saturday afternoon – and the first-half incident that turned the game when Rangers were denied a 2-0 lead by Referee Nick Walsh and VAR Official Andrew Dallas, then conceding an equaliser seconds later.
Barry was absolutely scathing in his criticism of both officials.

“I’ve got to watch what I say – but I watched it at time on our monitor, I watched it at half-time, and I watched it again at full-time. What’s the point?
“The referee wasn’t interested. It certainly should have been checked by VAR – that’s why we have VAR. It was clearly over the line – it’s disappointing – but I’ve seen it all season, decisions like that. Not just with Rangers either. That decision today was mind-blowing.
“You don’t even need goal-line technology for that incident. It’s clearly over the line, as clear as day.
“Some of the decisions are so poor – it’s unreal at times.”

“We’ll see over the next couple of days. I know I can do the job if I get the right tools. It’s a massive, exciting job – but it doesn’t scare me one bit. You need to start building for next season because this season has been way off, in terms of the standards that are needed. There’ a lot of work to be done – loan players, players out of contract, players going into the final year of their contract.”
