However, the Portuguese insisted that he would not stand in the striker’s way if he wished to depart Old Trafford.
Ibrahimovic, who is valued at £6.3m by transfermarkt.co.uk, was sensational for United last term – scoring 28 times in all competitions before picking up the season-ending knee injury.
The experienced forward did not look the same player when he returned to the field earlier this season, however, and it is unclear when he will be available for selection once again.
