The January transfer window may have only just ended, but that doesn’t mean that the rumours are dying down.
Indeed, Leeds United are always an interesting club to follow when it comes to transfers, and reports indicate the Whites could be about to add another Champions League winner to their ranks.
What’s the story?
En Cancha in Chile are reporting that Leeds could be in for Claudio Bravo when his Manchester City contract runs out at the end of the season.

The article states that a move to Elland Road is a growing option for the 36-year-old and that his solid footwork is something Marcelo Bielsa values.
The article also says that the stopper could be a replacement for Kiko Casilla between the sticks at the Yorkshire club.
Signing a one-time Champions League winner always seems like a good idea, but on this occasion, the Whites may be better off steering clear of Bravo for more than one reason.
Don’t sign him
The 36-year-old has been incredibly dodgy for City ever since his arrival.
Indeed, his xGA figure compared to the actual number of shots he was beaten with in the 2016/17 season makes for some pretty grim reading – he conceded 6.7 more strikes than he should have done. However, the gaffes don’t stop there.
Despite not being City’s number one for a few years now, the Chilean still somehow manages to make a number of blunders, most recently getting sent off against Atalanta in the Champions League leaving Kyle Walker having to go in goal.
Bravo is on £80k a week at City, and Leeds wouldn’t bring someone like that in if they weren’t going to be involved.
Unfortunately, that could hamper Illan Meslier’s development at the club as he’d be relegated to third-choice behind Casilla and Bravo, meaning that he would rarely get a chance to shine, even in cup games.
Ok, Meslier may only be on loan at the moment, but his deal has an option to buy attached, and Leeds shouldn’t hesitate to exercise it.
Meslier looks a real prospect, he earned plaudits from both sets of supporters after his Leeds debut, but his chances of becoming United’s number one in the near future will diminish if Bravo is brought in.
