Erling Haaland has now spent over £10 million on supercars as the Manchester City striker builds an enviable collection. Per the Daily Mail, the Norway international spent approximately two days' wages – £250,000 – on a brand-new Lamborghini, as he relaxes away from his prolific performances on the pitch.
Haaland splashes out on cars
Per the report, Haaland has snapped up the new Lamborghini Huracan, buying the car in a matte green colour. The striker was seen driving it out of City's training ground, with the Huracan capable of going from 0-62 in just 3.4 seconds. The incredibly exclusive motor – which only has 1,499 models available – has a top speed of 161mph, although how often Haaland will hit that driving around Manchester remains to be seen. It is not even close to his most expensive drive, though, as Haaland also owns a Bugatti Tourbillion, which costs over £4m.

In May, Haaland bought a brand-new yellow Ferrari worth over £320,000. He also has a £250,000 Mercedes Maybach, £2.7m Mercedes AMG One, a £130,000 Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe AMG 63 S 4Matic and a £300,000 Rolls Royce Cullinan. He had also previously owned a Ferrari 812 Superfast in blue. The striker has clearly deemed himself worthy of a treat after an incredible start to the campaign; he has already scored 14 goals in 10 games in all competitions, and he admits he feels he is in the form of his life.
He told City's website after their win over Brentford: "You can say so, I’ve never felt better than I do now. So yeah you can say so.
"I think it’s about preparation first of all, getting ready for the games. You can be physically ready but you need to be mentally ready as well.
"And to be honest I think with a kid, it makes me even better because I actually disconnect more than ever. I don’t think of football at all which sometimes when you’re younger you think of this and that and maybe worry a little bit about things. But when I go home I relax even more so I think I need to give a shoutout to my son!
"It was a tough game and it reminded me a bit about Stoke City with Rory Delap 15 years ago. It was lovely to win and important.
"They’re huge and do throw-ins from the middle so of course it’s not easy but it’s about preparing and being ready for what is going to come and analyse good, and we did. We have a great backroom staff that did their job really well so all praise to them.
"I think there is always space even when people are low. You just need right timing. I like when people come like this against us as well. Low block is not easy with three big centre-backs and two people in front of them, five people around us at all times. That’s why it’s not easy and that’s why it feels even better."
Haaland's Ballon d'Or ambition
Given his numbers already this season, Haaland will have his sights firmly set on the Ballon d'Or, a prize he already admits he covets.
in 2023, he said: "I think everybody cares. But I don’t think it’s a good thing to think about this. If you and your team are playing really well, you will perform well, you will begin to win trophies, [and] you will probably be on the list. Like [Kevin] De Bruyne was – he was third place, I think well deserved, by the way. But yeah, you cannot think of these kinds of things.
"Look at [Karim] Benzema, he is 35 now and I think even better. So in 12 years I hope to be even better than I am now."(C)Getty imagesWhat comes next?
City resume their Premier League campaign this weekend against Aston Villa before taking on Swansea in an away trip in the Carabao Cup. Sadly for Haaland, he will likely be travelling with the team, instead of in his brand new Lambo, when they head to Wales.
